Worrying about debt getting better?

OK, I know that this sounds strange, but, I find I am actually worrying about our debt situtation getting better. It seems as if I have gotten used to being broke, and I find myself freaking out at times about spending money. I worry aobut sliding back into the big black hole of debt that we used to have.....
Anybody else experience this??? I was looking forward to being free of debt, and not being so stressed about money. I am much less stressed, but, to a degree to seems too good to be true, and I keep waiting for it to turn around again.....

I can relate, I've been debt free since mid-Jan, including the car:)
I didn't know what to do with myself at first. I still don't and it's almost a year later. It takes some adjustment, I focused mostly on building up my savings and increasing my retirement savings so that I don't have to slip back into debt. Good luck:)
Yes, I worry when things start to get better, only because we end up getting blindsided somehow. I have one dept store cc that I want to pay off this month (less than $200), and my PC will be finished in January, so its an additional $60 in payments that need to go somewhere else. But, since I found out I am pregnant the other day, I guess that was the proverbial other shoe dropping! I just know that I feel better knowing that we are making headway towards getting out of debt, but now have to save the $ for the deductable at the hospital, set aside $ for my monthly co-payments (which will be bi-monthly, and weekly before I know it). Just when I thought my days of diapers were numbered, I get surprised with another two+ years....lol! Keeping fingers crossed that DH gets a bonus this year--THAT would help out a lot, too!
