Dug ourselves a hole again - HELP!

Well, although the debt wasn't going down much, we were making progress and had enough money coming in each week. Well, we let it go to our heads, and then WHAM! - somehow I owed $3,000 to my college. (Long story.) Well, it is all paid now, thankfully, but it left us without a penny to spare.
LITERALLY!
Today I had to transfer what little we had in savings over to checking just to make sure our rent check will clear. :(
The BIG problem is, DH is going to be laid off for 2 weeks at Christmas. We will get ~ $300 unemployment each week, but that isn't nearly what we need (closer to $1,000/week). I haven't exactly crunched the numbers yet (too scared, I think), but I'm sure it isn't going to be looking good when I do.
And it isn't like we have a lot of room on the Credit Cards to charge things until we get on our feet. :( (In fact, I have to charge a doctor's appointment fee this week because we just don't have it.)
I *think* we will be back on track come January/February...but what am I supposed to do in the meantime??? How do you pay your bills when there just isn't enough money to go around?? And how do you do it without ruining your credit??? I have good credit, and I want it to stay that way!
HELP

Well, I broke down and budgeted January out..... It all doesn't look quite as bad as I thought!!!!!
Dh's paychecks vary each week, but have been roughly $1,000 - $1,200 lately. If they stay that way, we will be able to pay the bills and hopefully get down a little bit of the debt.
I have been a stay at home mom for nearly a year now, and I want it to stay that way....especially since I homeschool my son. I would hate to put him in daycare, and try to school him when I'm not at work.... ugh.
Wish me luck!

Best of luck Aravis.
All my best,
