I have been very pleased wiht Christmas strategy this year, have paid cash for all gifts, and stuck to spending plan. Which has been good, however, my washing machine died, (been repaired three times, 2 new transmissions) and my dryer is squealing horribly, and taking forever to dry. So I have bought a new washer and dryer. I had planned to purchase t these in the spring, so I knew what I wanted and I got a good price, butI was able to get them on a no payment/no interest deal, so I plan to save the money and pay for them this spring, just frustrating, to accumulate new debt.

Yes, but debt that costs you nothing is great.

I know that feeling, I finally get something paid off or down and suddenly I have another expense that was unplanned for. It's like banging my head against the wall.

But good for you, getting the interest free deal. Now if only they would offer that deal on car repairs. : - )
