One thing you have trouble paying?

Hi, All. What is the one thing you always have trouble paying each month? Unexpected (or expensive) medical bills? Soaring heating costs? New credit card minimums with increased interest rates? How do you plan for it? WHiz.

I would say the medical bills that have piled up. However, it is completely OUR FAULT, if blame is to be divied out. :-)
I had a procedure done that was basically diagnostic only for infertility, knowing full well that our insurance does not cover infertility. However, I thought the charges would be roughly $400, and they ended up being over $600... so that was a bit of a shock.
And as I still owe a few hundred dollars to various other hospitals/doctors, I am trying to dole out a little to each company each month.... Fortunately, I will have several of them paid off in less than 3 months.

My husband's fines-he is terrible about accruing library fines and parking tickets. He has gotten better but we've lost a few hundred that way in the past year that goes for NOTHING. Plus, I don't know when it's coming.
The other would be our daughter's medical stuff-not the doctor's visits per se but she's 6 and has no bathroom control so pull-ups (I cloth diapered my kids so that was a new expense starting last fall), medicine each month, cod liver oil, enemas, variety of drinks to try and get her fluid level up. It all adds up and wasn't calculated in our budget when I started staying at home (the problem wasn't evident then). The doctor also orders periodic X-rays and she had an MRI last spring so it all adds up quickly.

Well, normally, I'd say I can pretty much make ends meet each month...but I am definitely waiting until tomorrow to see if MBNA posts my new minimum on my account. The billing period ended today, so I'm hoping they'll update my account overnight. I hope I don't find myself waking up at all hours to go check the computer for peace of mind, but as often as I check our accounts each day, it wouldn't surprise me. Something is making me think that it won't be too bad....but I still can't wait to find out. LOL! :-D

Well car repairs keep popping up. Which I means I can't get enough saved up in my emergency to cover them completely so they keep going on the credit cards.
Other than that there is the stress of not knowing exactly what my minimum payments are going to look like on the credit cards. I keep hoping that what I've heard from others happens to my BOA card as well 1% of the balance plus the fees. I've run the numbers and as long as that's what all my cards increase to I shouldn't have any problems paying them. I'll be really glad when all the bills come in just so I know where I stand.
