Taking the plunge

I'm taking the plunge and moving...again...same town but I found a place on craigslist with a girl also in her late 20s. I really wanted to keep my own place, but moving to her place will save me about $400/month. Not that I am making ends meet now, so its really a no-brainer. Be able to pay bills on time or keep ignoring them. It is a scary decision for me to give up my own space, but suddenly I am excited. I truly see a light that is getting brigher at that end of this tunnel. Even if we don't get along 100%, if I stick it out a year, I may just be out of debt by then and my goal is debt free by 30 (so end of 30 counts, right??!!) I'll still have Sallie Mae and my car loan, but my other HUGE PILE OF DEBT will hopefully be gone. I don't spend anymore and I don't use any credit at all but I am paying for old mistakes.
I also am on month 2 of credit consuling and the calls have finally stopped! Interest rates lowered, people getting their money, I can look at the mail again...
This at first was a scary thing, but to reach my goal...so thank you for all of your advice and support. I lurk alot and have learned so much. this is a goal worth getting to and I WILL GET THERE.

That had to have been a tough decision to make, but if you are saving $400 each month... WOW!
I hope you find a way to get along with your new roommate! Who knows, you might have fun!!! :-)
Congrats on taking the step!!!!!!
