Things you did great, others do better?

HI, All. What things are you most proud of this last year. THings you werent? For me, losing weight (about 20lbs). Not going to Vegas and blowing money. (Yippeee!) A MAJOR victory. Avoiding malls. Paying off car (with refi help). Paying off doc bills (some, anyway). Bad things: Raiding accounts (credit union). SHopping online with debit card. Spending too much on groceries and cooking. l) DH and I put away all cc's. 2) going to declutter. Have boxes in garage packed, ready to go to Salvation Army. 3) Increased $$$ for credit union. 4) Hooked up with friend who does temp work, to see if I can work extra this year. 5) Diet: 20 more lbs to go. Whiz.

I'm most proud that I started to take charge of my health, both physical and dental. I can honestly say that I did not set foot inside a mall at all in 2005!! That, in and of itself, is amazing! We paid off a car, paid off a karate school tuition loan, refi'd our house to merge our first and 2nd mortgages (by lowering the interest rates considerably, we were able to keep our payment the same but shorten our term down to 15 years!), and when we had to buy another car, we were able to save a good downpayment that enabled us to get a low-rate 3 year loan. I've never in my life had a 3-year car payment loan. :-D
Things I did badly: I probably spent too much on little odds and ends. Nothing that I can really think of...just little things that add up over time. We spent a lot last year on our son's karate tournaments, so I'm hoping to scale that back a bit this year.
