One Down--three to go!

I just checked my online statement for one of my store cards. It has a 0 balance. Yea!
We got the card in November because DH was going on a business trip and needed "business attire." The store we usually shop at (which has great clothes) had a special that weekend. Get their card and get 20% off all your purchases. So, not having room on our Visa to buy clothes, we got their store card, ended up saving $165 on purchases that day and only paid about $14 in interest. I was determined to pay off that card before the interest wiped out any savings.
Now, I can hear some of you asking why did we have to buy business clothes for DH to go on a business trip. Well, DH is active duty army and his wardrobe consists of uniforms, khakis and long sleeve pull overs. Not much! Even though he was going to be around the military on his trip, his commander insisted on business attire for the day and dressy casual clothes for the evening.
Well, DH now has an adult wardrobe, is set for any future "business attire" trips and I had an overall savings of $151. That cc is at a zero balance and will only be used for extra savings and immediately paid off in the future.
Just had to share my joy.
Now, to tackle the other three...

Hello,
Congratulations on paying off that store card! You'll call and cancel it soon, right? I have learned that I need to cancel store cards quickly after paying them off, because the "discounts" and "special offers" start tempting me to go back and spend more at that store. Of course, if there's a really good discount for having a store card, I can always sign up again, get the discount, pay it off, then cancel it. I'm sure the stores don't like this much.
Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke
