More $$ for internet or less headache?

I'm moving in March, and due to major pain in the butt issues with my current phone/internet provider, I'm thinking of changing to cable internet, and need your opinions on what I should do.
I currently have SBC phone and dial up internet. I package my cell phone bill in there, too, to save $$. I currently pay $105 for basic landline, internet, cell, and cable.
I'd like to switch to Time Warner cable internet when I move, and the cost for that would be $135 total (give or take some taxes) for cable internet, cell, and cable.
I'm fed up with SBC for several reasons, and have no need for a landline phone, the only reason I have it is to have the dial up internet, which I have to have here b/c I can't get cable internet in this complex.
I'm not picky on how fast my internet is, so do you think I should take the higher priced package, just to get out from under SBC and their wicked ways? Money is kind of tight, but I'm sick of having to call SBC every month b/c they screwed up on my bill...

Well, I wish I could say, "Go for it!" and stick it to SBC, but sadly I don't know that you would be any happier with TWC. We've had terrible experience with Time Warner. The service has always been quite spotty, and it's like pulling teeth to get them to come out and fix it. Then it's like pulling more teeth to get them to credit our account for the days we were without internet.
Actually, it's been a bit better the past year or so, but I just don't know that I can wholeheartedly recommend TWC.
Whatever you do, good luck. I hope you find something that works better for you!
Blessings,
Heather
I've never had any problems with Time Warner that weren't delt with quickly so maybe it just depends on your area. Now I had horrible problems with Comcast Cable/Internet but when I move I'll have to go back to them. As horrible as it sounds, I just can't imagine going back to dail up since I've had cable access.
Any way you go though, it's always a craps shoot I've found. I'd look into and price around and see how much you would be out and if you can check around with neighbors and see if they have any suggestions.
