I know, I know - for those of you who have been here a while, this is definitely an "oldie" - but this is one of the best tools that I've ever gotten from posting on this board, so I want to make sure that newer folks are aware of it.

All my best,

Danni, I absolutely love that feature in Quicken. I look at the debt reduction planner every day. I update the numbers once a month and then see if it makes me any closer to getting out of debt.

Definitely worth taking the time to input your numbers.

I also like this tool, but I haven't figured out a way to save my debts into the planner and then just adjust the amounts...is there a way to do this? I hate punching everything in each time only to have it all erased. Thanks!

Hi...I'm new to this board, and have been lurking for a couple of weeks.

Welcome to the group, Christy! Putting your tax refund towards your debt is a good idea. We plan to do the same thing. Not only will it bring us closer to our goal of being debt free, it will lower our minimum payments to give us a little more breathing room in our budget. :-D
