Trickle effect from gas prices?

Hi, everyone. Since the stock market took a dive (various reasons---unrest in Nigeria, uncertain supplies, refineries at capacity, no new ones being built, colder weather, etc), has anyone noticed a trickle down or domino effect from the increase in gas prices? Not just gasoline (up .25 cents in 3 wks), but heating oil, natural gas, etc. Are you paying more for, say, pizza or delivery charges? Lipsticks? Things made with oil and gas? Or, is it just my imagination? whiz.

I have noticed some definite increases at the grocery store on items DH buys frequently. Used to be he could buy a 4-pack of Red Bull (energy drinks) for like $5, not it is $6. And he buys 4-packs of fruit cups; usually $1.65 or something....now the cheapest we can find them is $2.
Very frustrating!!!!!!

Donna, I live in Fort Wayne and if you search, you can find it for $2.29 in some places. :-)
