Free Tax Filing

I've been a lurker for a number of years (still have lots of debt) but am managing it. I just wanted to let those of you who have State Farm insurance know that you can file your taxes free through Turbo Tax. You need to register for State Farm's online service, but once you log in there's a place for you to click which will take you to Turbo Tax's website where you can file most taxes for free online. There is no income limit as in the government's program. I'm glad I saw this before I filed.

Happy filing.

You need to go to State Farm's website and register for the online services. You will be able to receive and pay your bill online. You need your account numbers, etc. Once you log in, look on the left side of the screen and click the free tax file link. That link will take you to Turbo Tax.

Let me know if you have any problems.

You can file free with alot of different sites. Just go to irs.gov and find the link for free tax filing. I used Fileyourtaxes.com and it took less than one hour.
