There go the savings....

well, after we were turned down twice Monday trying to get a credit to free up hubby's disability money in the States and to get some financial relief for our account here, I decided to cancel my life-insurance (I have another one) and my rea-estate fonds. It irks me that I have to do it, but it will get the overdraft down and help us get some breathing room, especially since we have to pay Child-support for another 11 months, because they deducted medi-care before they split his disability. Last year they split it first and then deducted it from his personal half. Bummer... oh well. I feel kind of bummed out about the whole situation, but I know it will go on, it always does, it is just a matter of time and waiting. So when we are off better financially, I'll start a savings account for him and me but right now its not feasible. Hope this is over soon.

Just wanted to send <> and sorry to hear about your savings - I know that feeling. It may be the best to have just one life insurance policy, but the keep the one that is 'whole life' rather than 'term'. I don't understand why anyone would want term insurance -anyway I digress.

Sorry to hear about the difficulties of receiving your H's disability money. Is this tied to his child support payments?

Keep on keepin' on.
