Yay, Tax Refund is in our acct...

I just checked our account & it has posted $515, YAY!!! It is going into our EF so our balance is now a proud $2095!
Anyone else efiled & received their refund?

We got ours last Friday. Efiling and direct deposit almost make filing taxes painless, not completely, but it does make it easier.
Glad you got it quickly.

Don't you just LOVE efiling?! :) We efiled and received our money last Friday. We called our credit union within hours of receiving our money and paid off our van. Yay, now we have $254.96 to pay towards our other debts. :)

I e-filed on 1/28 and our refund posted today. Approximately half went to our emergency fund and the other half went to pay for some work that I had done to my truck.

Ours posted today! We got screwed this year. Two of my jobs didn't take out any federal taxes, because I was part time at both. So instead of getting $4000 back, we only got $900. But I shouldn't complain, it's $900! We are putting it into our ING account. Any new deposits between now and April 15 will earn 4.75%! We are throwing all of our savings into that account until April to earn as much as possible!

All my best,

Yay! Us too! Gotta love efiling and direct deposit. I've already called the auto repair shop and the plumber to schedule the needed appointments. The money will be gone soon, but at least the credit card balances won't go up!

I have a week or two left for mine to arrive. I requested direct deposit, though, so it shouldn't take as long as a check would. My GA tax return ($971)should be arriving around Valentine's Day, and that'll go into our savings for our son's frequent karate tournaments (registration fees, hotels, gas, meals can get pricey), and our Federal refund ($3409)should be in our account on February 21st, and that one is going to our credit card. I can't wait to see that balance drop drop drop! :-D I expect that with the Federal refund and my normal payments and snowflakes, I will be entering the month of March with my balance under 5K! Gosh, I hope I don't faint when I see my balance that low for the first time probably 10 years. LOL! :-D
