DS is with his dad for the weekend, and DH went to play poker with his buddies.

I treated myself to a coffee at a local coffee shop, while I did some studying. Then I stopped at the grocery store and picked up a pint of ice cream! :) I spent maybe five bucks total....soooo worth it!

I have needed this for way too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to pressure you .... hee hee .... but I have found that if you have any reasons NOT to homeschool, that can always be fixed. For example, if you are worried that your child would not have enough interaction with other children - YOU CAN CHANGE THAT! :)
Set up play dates, join a homeschool group, whatever.

Our family motto is that we are taking it one year at a time. Kindergarten has been a challange, but definitely do-able. We still haven't decided 100% on 1st Grade.

Bremen enjoys being homeschooled, for the most part. :) He gets a lot more freedom, which he likes. (Especially being a boy! He is very active!!!!) When he tells me about what he learned on a certain subject, he likes to walk around the room. He wouldn't be allowed to do that in most public schools. And he can take as much or as little time as he wants on everything. If it takes him an hour to do his phonics lesson, okay. If he finishes his math paper early, we can move on to something else, or he can go play. If it is a beautiful day outside, we can take a day off and go to the park!

Shoot, we even took a vacation to Florida for a week in September. :)

Anyway, again, I don't mean to pressure you. Every family has to decide for themselves what works best for their family! :)

We are trying to have another child, and if that ever happens, I might need to put him in public school for my own sanity! ha ha
