Hello! I am recovering yet again from a crazy day at work...it's just chaos! Well, I snuck out a little early...
I was listening to the news this morning, and they were talking about an Olympic athlete who had gone into serious debt to compete in her sport, and then she was injured, and that was the end of her dream....I felt really sad for her. I wonder how she will pay it back. That would be an interesting story.
I walked into the house tonight, and the livingroom is just full of JUNK. I will houseclean to the Olympics tonight......Yesterday I was making notes of stuff I was noticing as I cleaned...like I have a huge load of old t-shirts that are all still good, and I know now I don't need to buy any gym clothes! I don't need to buy clothes for just sitting around the house by myself. (Some of the t-shirts are 15 years old and still good enogh for the gym and sitting around the house!) There is just so much junk in this tiny apartment, and I just SEE it now,and I just do no want to add to it, so I am still a bit turned off to shopping. I also found a whole drawer of toiletries I forgot about. I do not need any toiletries for quite some time!!!! This is all good right now.......
I am going to be working on paying bills tonight, too. Seems a bit of juggling in the budget has to be done.
I am starting to get the new bills for the credit cards where th eminimums have gone UP!!! I think I can manage them, but if I had more credit cards, I think it would be a real problem for me.
A foreign contractor at work today was asking me a lot of questions about credit scoring today.. He's been looking for an apartment and he just went through a background check. I told him a bit about what I know, and it was interesting to think about all the little things that factor into that score! My company checked my credit history when they did my check, too.
Okay, one more thing before I sign off......as I was cleaning, I found a package of 50 clothespins...I had no recollection of buying them. They were only a dollar...but why did I buy them? So I put half of them in my charity pile....I am still wondering what I'll do with the half I saved....Well, at least the cleaning has it's interesting and silly moments. Wonder what I will find tonight?
Have a great evening! Go for the gold again!!!

Clothespins?
All my best,
Danni
Hi, Danni!
That sounds like a great idea! My little guy is shredding his toys like crazy lately....I'll see how he likes clothespins! I hadn't thought of using them! Thanks for the great idea! Littlesbigs
Good for you for de-cluttering and organizing. Have you ever heard of Flylady? Check out flylady.com for inspiration. It's kinda fun.
I use clothespins for lots of stuff. Original purpose--hang drying. They make good chip/cookie bag clips and I use in place of twist ties--it's faster. Stash some in your travel bag to keep curtains shut or dry something overnight, etc.
