Hi! I was just wondering... We all know how dangerous the mall can be. For many it is full of trigger stores. I hate paying too much for things and even on sale clothes can be expensive. I have expensive taste (a curse) and I have to dress professional for work so it is easy to spend on clothes. I go through periods where I visit thrift stores and find that my best clothes are things I've bought thrifting. I think there are people who must dump their wardrobe at the end of every season because I am buying things that may have been worn once and are top brands in new condition. We have stores here that are half off on Wed and Sat, Friday's it's 70% off boutique and Sunday and Monday everything is a dollar. You have to go through the clothes but it sure is fun to walk out of there with a bag full of great stuff for $10. Anyone else use thrift stores to cut expenses?

Hi Trudyu I started doing that when my DD was born. I would even find great little dresses for xmas and easter there. The same lady has been running it since 1982. My DD is now 24 and I still go there. I just love it. I also take things in to sell.

We have a second-hand store not too far from our house, and I usually pop in there once or twice a month to see what sorts of bargains can be had.

All my best,
