got my free credit reports today

I went online and got my free credit reports today (except for Transunion, they said I have to request by mail for some reason). I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone can help with. I'm trying to get my score up as much as possible within the next year so I can buy a house. My score went from 541 to 565 in the last month, which I know is still pretty dismal, but at least it's up! Anyway.... on my report I have a couple of accounts listed as open that I really don't need on there. First is a Fingerhut account that I used one time about 3 or so years ago. It doesn't have a balance, and I have never used it since. I don't think I even have the account number anymore (it doesn't list a complete number on the report). How can I close this, or should I even worry about it? I thought maybe a smaller number of open accounts would be better. The other account is a Sears card. It was my ex-husband's account, I was an authorized user (not a joint account). It does says that I am not responsible for the account, but it still categorizes it as an open account for some reason. We haven't been together for nearly 5 years. Again, I haven't got the account number. How can I get that removed, or should I even bother? The reports also have some personal info mistakes, addresses I never lived at (one was the ex's), misspellings of my name, etc. Will that matter? There is also a collection account ($93, which has been paid for over a year) listed, that says a balance exists of $20. How can I get rid of that? There is no balance. I may have more questions as I read closer. Wisdom, anyone?
