Well, things never cease to amaze me or annoy me......all I want is peace, can't get it...but I keep trying....

Well, I got the mail late, and one of my credit card bills is now charging the double rate we all were dreading, and so now I'm sitting here reworking the budget again to fit it in. It's painful.

I got an awful phone call from a friend who has left her husband after less than a year of marriage. She has all the money in the world, but she has no peace. I guess I'll be spending time listening to her this weekend. I have barely enough time to "spend".....money and time are TOO short here................

I just recalculated my debt total, and it's just awful. Finance charges are killing me.

Well, I'll keep swimming..............head is just barely above the water..........so annoying! (but I cannot drownd!)

I hear you littlesbigs. I am so tired of fighting to survive and get ahead. It seems like we are moving ahead at a snail pace when it comes to finances. It is so frustrating, but then I think about the alternatives. I think I read in Dave Ramsey's book that it takes just as much effort to live a bad life as to live a good one. So, I feel that I should keep at it. My school, work, financial situation and other things are taking a toll on my health. I will just put one foot in front of the other and that is all I can do.

Hello,

Sorry to hear that the minimum rate went up for one of your cards. When you're just barely making the old minimums, having them double isn't much fun! At least you can tell yourself that you'll be paying it off twice as fast! *I know, it's not much consolation!*

If you can, use that credit card as your "target debt" and send all your snowflakes toward paying it off.

Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke
