We have been sick at our house ALL week, actually, it started last week. DD was the first to have a fever, then me, then other dd. We have passed it around and around...definitely the miserable flu. We are all hacking up lungs. In the few hours we have actually felt ok, it has been a trip to the fast food drive thru for lunch...yesterday, we upgraded to Applebees carside to go. I can't wait until we are all healthy enough for a real grocery shopping trip!!! I went to work last night, and we even had a pizza party for a manager who was leaving. I need green, leafy vegetables!!
My goal for taday is to at least have a healthy dinner, even if i have to send dh to the grocery store to fetch!! That, and sleep!!! Hope everyone is healthy and happy!!

Hi Heather - feel better! :)

Do any of your local grocery stores deliver if you order online?

All my best,

You know, Danni?
That is not a bad idea...I think I will check it out. We are actually at the point of having cancelled drs appts because we (one or collectively, depending on the day) too sick to leave the house! Thanks for the idea!! Heather

Thanks, Becky.
Dh came home for lunch with a nice salad for me and ice cream for the girls (I honestly don't care what they eat when they are sick, so long as they eat), and well, we will still have to go grocery shopping eventually. I hope to catch a long nap this afternoon (I got 3 hours of sleep last night because i worked), and I am supposed to work tonight, too, but I just might end up calling in. He says me and my youngest sound like dueling banjos with all of our coughing. Ha Ha Ha...very funny!!
Anyhow, we live too far out in the boonies for grocery delivery, but dh has volunteered himself, so there is hope for us yet.
Cancelled therapy for the evening, so the house can stay a disaster. sheesh!!
Anyhow, thanks for the feel better vibes...
Tomorrow will be my day (optimism, I say...optimism)
: ) Heather
