Good Morning Danni!

Sounds like you need your morning coffee a bit on the strong side today!

"It's kind of funny to think of how many years we coasted along never saving a dime, and charging things willy-nilly, and now that we're saving and working hard not to charge anything, I'm way more stressed about money."

Those words are SO true. I don't know I got by when I was younger, and not worrying about everything! Now that I am older, I am much more responsible and worry about EVERYTHING!

It's okay to worry or feel guilty for a little while about things you might have spent on , but don't worry so much that you ruin the feeling of getting something new. It seems like you work hard, and the fireplace sounds exciting, and the smoker sounds like you guys will be having some parties with that thing!. So it's done, just enjoy it! Start fresh start next week : )

Hi, Danni. Isnt it true that are subconscious mind plays tricks on us when we are lying awake? At least you werent up eating at that hour(!) You deserve to splurge a little, especially on things that are worthwhile, and fun, since you have achieved so many things. At least you arent buying bonehead purchases, like DH's expensive speakers for the TV, or doing mindless munching (DH) while watching those March Madness basketball games., and having potatoe chips tempt fate with diet plans. Whiz.:)

Danni,

Even though you believe that you have been spending more lately, I know you have the self-control to know when you've surpassed your limits.

You and your dh are doing an awesome job of paying down your debts, and the fact that you are able to save up for impending purchases is a sure sign of fiscal responsibility, progress and success.

I definitely think that once your taxes are completed, you'll be more at ease...you won't be in the "Not knowing" stage :)

Hang in there, and keep plugging away!
