Wearhouse this am. Told dh we should burn everything in his wardrobe and start fresh (no, I am not! out of my mind here, it is so true!!!), you know, the whole "dress for success" routine. Two thoughts: if he has a job when we get to OH, he will need the clothes, if he doesn't have a job, he will get about three grand without touching his 401K, not to mention it would help when he interviews if he looks presentable. Anyhow, $1215 later (no, that was not a typo), we walk out with 2 sportscoats, three pairs of pants, two fancy mock turtlenesck, three dress shirts and four ties, a tie chain... He looked so handsome, it was hard not to spend more!!
But really, my guy needed prodded to update his wardrobe, considering he hasn't done anything to it in ten years (think: if you prefer to walk the excess length off your pants rather than hem them...) so now all he needs is a new pair of shoes, and he is good to go.

OK, the bad news is i put it on my Disney card, BUT, I will pay $700 right away...AND THEN... well, he just better get a job LOL!! Oh, we spent so much, we have a $100 gift certificate coming to us... um, yeah, and I thought I was only dangerous at gymboree! (He wouldn't have done it without me, THAT IS FOR SURE!!!)

heather-

While the bill was pretty big it seems as thought you did good with it. Sounds like it is an interchangeable wardrobe so he has more outfits than pieces which is good. We buy a lot of my DH dress shirts & ties at TJ Maxx and that saves us quite a bit.

I understand about Gymbo....I am staying up until 11 tonight just to redeem my gymbucks online before everything is gone...my shopping cart is full I just need to wait 3 hours to check out;

If the guy needed, it needed. Don't feel bad about it. LOL

I spent today over $400 for my kids in clothes. They have grown out of everything.
