I am already using some ideas from you guys.-b-day parties(scaling back to neighborhood and family)and I found a great dollar store today-lots of brand name-cool toys and so I bought 20$ worth-I think it is enough for 4or5 parties. We have a party tom. in fact and for him(6)I put some outdoor in a bag(chalk, colored bubbles, beach stuff-you get it). I am so excited. Typically because I am busy-like you all, I would hit ToysRUS the day before or something. Now I have a stash!! I am also now taking out what cash I think we can spend for the week(may need to be adjusted)-after bills and using that for gas/groceries etc. and not using debit. Let's see what else and I am also tracking my spending to the penny for a while. One pp's asked about emergency account-we have 6000$ saved but it is going fast-Glad to be here-Monica

Yeah Monica! That sounds awesome! Glad you got some ideas you could put to use right away!

Great job, Monica! You should be very proud of all the steps you've taken already. The dollar store is a great way to find cool gifts, and giving a bag of outdoor items is perfect. I'm sure the birthday boy's parents will appreciate it also because it's less items that they would have to buy when warmer weather approaches.
Keep up the fantastic work!
