You can't pay a credit card payment w/ another CC, can you?

I guess some places you can. Can't think of an example for you though. My friend said people used to call all the time and switch payments back and forth like that when she worked for a credit card company.

You can. It would be considered a balance transfer. I had no choice to do once with my American Express. Had a large balance, could not paid. Therefore, transfered to a low interest credit card.

I'm not in the habit of doing that. It was more of an emergency. I didn't want to be late on my American Express.

So there would be a fee on top of whatever payment I was making?

Hello,

If you find a balance transfer rate that is lower (or the same) interest and no balance transfer fee (pretty rare, but sometimes happens) then you can request a transfer and lose no money. However, eventually, you'll have to pay a minimum payment to one of those accoutns at some point!
