here am I? I can see how giving up smoking can be so so difficult. I've been trying to kick my 3-4 (ok sometimes 5 cans/day if I don't think dh will catch me) habit. I was thinking how much I could possibly save by not buying this. And yes, I am very guilty of running to the grocery store just for pepsi but of course, leaving w/ $60 worth of crap I didn't need. Not only that but I was balancing the checkbook and was at the grocery store 4 times this week w/ $60 here, $40 there, and then $140 for the big grocery shop. I get really mad about how much they charge for this when it is on sale nonetheless! $7 for a 24 pk.? I really don't consider that much of a sale. But I buy anyway. Sorry for rambling, I'm wound up--on my fourth can. It's cherry. I guess this is sorta a money related topic. ;)

Well, I am not the Diet Pepsi addict, but my DH is!! He drink the 710ml bottles, at a rate of 3-4 a day. I think that some weeks we spend more on beverages than on food!
Although, I can't really complain, I am a Tim hortons addict, and my kids drink about a gallon of milk a day......

I used to be a Timmy's addict - I swear to God back when I was only working part time and really, REALLY struggling with the debt, I would literally search the couch cushions for change so I could go buy my Tim Hortons coffee across the street! More than once I bought one with rolled pennies... hahaha! It was a sad, miserable day when I couldn't scrounge up some Timmy's money. :(

About a year ago I discovered that coffee was giving me some major digestive issues (even non-caffeinated), so now I limit myself to one per week (DF and I stop at Tim's on our way home from the grocery store every Sunday). It's the best damn 20 minutes of my weekend. LOL!
