Hi, all. Well, it's been an interesting few days. DH got sick, and you know what THAT can be like...going to the store, kleenex, then running back to the store for chicken, then going back OUT in the rain, to get some sinus stuff, and tea, etc.. DH just spent a bundle to get a LoJack thing for the car, and install it. Geeze---for what? So that potential unsavory characters can see the big blue light that is eminating from the steering wheel? Part II: The accountant called. Oh, my! Danni---$1500 to the state, a few hundred bucks to the feds! We owe, so it's off to work I must go. Part III? Ants in the shower? Something marching in formation. Part IV? Me charging stuff for very sick friend of DM (flowers, get-well basket, etc.). Part V: Spent all morning cleaning the fridge. Something had spilled and ruining everything, from bacon, to veggies, etc., and I had just gone to the store, and it's down the drain (literally). Part VI? Trying to get an online class done. Problems with the program (I called CS). Problems with the printer jamming and ink running out. At oh-dark-30. (0130). THAT got the party started. The grand pooh bah? Have to cook for a big shindig tomorrow, and clean. Sooo--I booked a hair appointment AND someone to help me clean tomorrow. DH left his cell phone at home, so it has been worse than AT&T customer service! Am sooo ready to pull my hair out. When it rains, it pours. Sigh. SOrry for venting. Whiz.

You are not alone with the craziness and the mess....It's happening to me, too!!!! I am going to work on making things better tonight and take a couple days off to regroup.

I hope things calm down for you soon!

Oh Whiz~ your post made me giggle....that sounds like my life (except for hiring a cleaning lady- you're looking at her) I can relate with the DH sickness~ mine whines for chapstick (?!!?) when he's sick!

As for ruining food--- (I'm soo embarrassed to write this) I hid 4 loaves of bread IN THE BAGS in the oven because potential buyers were coming to look at the house and yes I forgot to take them out and yes preheated the oven only to find bread and plastic melted to the oven racks 10 minutes later!!!

Ahh the ants~~ I'll never forget the day I saw the tv screen moving a little more than it should and as I looked closer saw a line of ants marching down the screen, down the entertainment stand, onto the carpet, across the living room floor, dining room floor, under a crack in the front door, onto the porch and down the stairs to the yard!!!!!! They must have smelled the kids juice cup on the tv stand! So you can picture my DH and I sucking up each ant with the vacuum........

So hang in there girl~ we've all been there!! (And will be again) ;) Nicki

Oh, whiz.
You have my sympathy. I smiled a bit about the ant story though (sorry.) We just moved into my Dad's on Sunday...I had a crate of canned goods on the floor in the kitchen (so NOT a priority), and as it turned out, the honey bottle was in there, too...so ants were crawling up and down the honey.....
ACK! I haven't seen ants much in the three years we were in Wisconsin...i forgot about them! LOL!!!! Hope it gets better!

Hi, ladies, and thanks for making me see the funny part of life today. Am glad I'm not the only one with ants, bread in the oven with a special "glaze" (LOL). Spring is here! Heather--glad you're settling in at your dad's, and again, congrat's on the "new addition to be". Fondly, WHiz.

Hi, Danni--LOL--That parrot sounds like he is on the ant-elimination payroll. Simple Green? Havent tried it for ants, but at this point, I'm trying everything--borax, eucalyptis oil, etc. Thanks for the tip. Whiz.

Hi, Aravis--Thanks for the hug. BTW---What is that detangler stuff you have there? Is it hypoallergenic? Is it just for kids, or can adults use it, too? Curious whiz. :)
