Okay ladies, there certainly has been a lot of negativity on here the past couple days (myself included!!!), and I hope we can get past it.
My challenge to each and everyone on of us is this:
Name AT LEAST one positive thing in your life regarding Debt.
Name AT LEAST one positive thing in your life NOT regarding Debt.
And afterwards, reply to EVERYONE'S posts to offer a big congrats on the positives in their lives!!!

My debt has gone from $27,000 and completely out of control in 2001 (when I was only 22/23 years old), to $15,000 with a clear plan to bring it to $0 by 2009. :)

A much deserved vacation after all your hard efforts at debt reduction!!!!!!!
Kelly, congrats on your upcoming wedding!
Name AT LEAST one positive thing in your life regarding Debt.
Without CC's with high limits, I could never have financially survived the custody battle with my ex. I paid my attorney every cent of cash I could get my hands on and charged gas, groc.'s and other necessities.
Name AT LEAST one positive thing in your life NOT regarding Debt.
I'm a free woman! I'm now taking steps to be free from debt as well.
I'm mad at my jerk of an exhusband this week, can ya tell?
Cupcake
congratulations to you...
I've read many times that being an entrepreneur is a much surer path to real financial success than always being someone's employee. I'm personally fascinated with it and would love one day to have my own biz of some sort.
congratualations to you...
I hear ya...when my house feels messy and cluttered, so does my mind.
It definitely lifts my spirits to have a neat living space.
Good idea Aravis!
We were all a little down this week (let's blame it on the time change:)
Good thing related to debt -
I paid off my BofA card and moved half my debt to take advantage of a 3.99% interest rate:) I'll have it all paid off by next spring.
Good thing unrelated to debt -
I have a great DH who's fun to be around and the best Dad/sister anyone could ask for. An interesting job with nice co-workers.
One positive thing to do with my debt.....
We own BOTH of our cars and they are good ones! And if we keep it up we will have paid off all our cc by the end of the year;-)
One positive thing NOT debt related
Next week is our 10th anniversary and we are still madly in love and still like to hang with each other....according to most of my friends that is a rarity so we are trying to savor it.....
On another note...everyone on this board is SO great...I never would have had the discipline or preplanning to save for my surgery had you guys not given me the direction. There will be more bills but I have an efund & a plan.... you guys are they BEST!!
I have two positives about my debt:
-coming to terms with the amounts and having DH be onboard for our reduction plan
-meeting everyone here....what a great group!!! I would honestly be lost without the inspiration from you ladies!
A positive not about debt:
-two beautiful boys and a wonderful husband...I don't appreciate them as much as I should!
