Okay ladies, there certainly has been a lot of negativity on here the past couple days (myself included!!!), and I hope we can get past it.
My challenge to each and everyone on of us is this:
Name AT LEAST one positive thing in your life regarding Debt.
Name AT LEAST one positive thing in your life NOT regarding Debt.
And afterwards, reply to EVERYONE'S posts to offer a big congrats on the positives in their lives!!!

Great Post! It really lifted my spirits to read all these great things that are happening!

Well, as I posted earlier, my practicum in the summer is going to pay twice what I thought, so I am going to have lots of money to put against my student loan!!!!

I am going home for easter!!!!! My dad suprised me and bought me a ticket home with his airmiles so I get to spend a week with my family. I am going into my office (I work remotely from school) to see about getting a few more hours which would help a lot (ok, kinda debt related I know!!!)
- My advisor was in contact with one of the VP's of a large pharmaceutical company in Canada, and they are interested in having me work for them on a project I need to do (for my Masters). Its unpaid, but its a foot in the door!
- and most importantly . . . my eye is almost all better, lol.
I read over all the other posts and I must say, it makes me happy to see how well everyone else is doing!!!

Becky, where is "home"?
Hi Aravis,
Home for me is Ontario, Canada (about 45 minutes outside Toronto). I can't wait to see my family again!!!!
As for the airmiles thing, I think its a great idea!!! I personally put ALL my purchases on my credit card, and then go home right away and make the payment (this only works becuase I have an online bank that doesn't have any fees, so I can make as many credit card payments as I want). I even put my tuition on the card. Doing this I have earned over $300.00 in grocery money this year!! The caveat of course is that you tend to spend more on the credit card then you would with cash, so I now have my list with me everytime I go shopping, and if its not on the list, its not in the cart!!!!!

Geeks on Tap: Mission Accomplished
Hello,
Congratulations on keeping the "madly in love" going with your marriage! My DH and I have been married almost 6 years and we still hold hands when walking and snuggle when we sit next to each other on a couch. People think we're "cute" when we dance because it's obvious that my DH and I have eyes only for each other.
I have to restrain myself slightly at work, since we work for the same company (fulltime). But I still get hugs and kisses, just not "smoooooches". =)
Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke

Hi, Aravis. Well, after marching ants, chomping printer, and taxes, am ready for the positives. Great idea!
l)Positive thing related to debt: Hospital bill down to $500! Movement on the x-ray bill a little. Refi to fixed rate. Credit score of 727. Switching to fixed rate 7% cc.
2) Positive things not related to debt: Keeping weight off and losing a pants' size. DH's job. Cooking up a storm for parties, potlucks--my joy is trying and sharing new recipes. Got haircut and found a great new hairdresser.
3) Positive new things? Composing music again on piano. Doing resumes for friends and DH (my creative challenge). Joined tap dancing class. Baseball fever. Summer concerts.
4)Thankful for: DH and the cats. Married 23 yrs. Fun relatives.
5)Hope to: Go visit Canada with Canadian GF's. Never been there. Pay off the one cc this year! Fondly, Whiz.
