Last Friday I sent a Easter box to my DD and SIL. All kinds of goodies from home. Plus some jeans and dress slacks that I can't wear but will fit her.(Just got married a year ago so her money is tight wouldn't be caught dead in something from my closet but now she says hey thanks.) The box cost me 11.01 to mail it out. This morning I was in the cupboard for something and darn it there was DD's girlscout cookies that I promised to put in the box. So here goes a few more bucks out of already depelted budget. Was bad yesterday and bought new bathing suit. Was a sucker for the words on tag 10 pounds thiner in 10 seconds. But love the suit and needed new one. So I guess it is off to the post office again. But the good part of my story is that the bathing suit was cash. I havn't charged anything on any card in over a month and headed for 2. Have a great day!

I mailed out those cookies. One box of girlscout cookies cost 4.05 to mail and that was the cheapest rates they said that they had. I almost died. That makes a very expensive box of cookies. But they are good. That will teach me to double check before I tape up boxes in the future. Good thing is she will get 2 packages from home.

Don't kick yourself! Pat yourself on the back! Two months without charging--that's terrific. Take the baby steps necessary to keep making it, month by month, without charging. And don't sweat the small stuff. We all make little mistakes like that, all the time. Maybe the cookies weren't worth that much money, but the good feeling your dd will get when she receives TWO packages from home will be worth every penny.

Blessings,

Heather
