I had a great day out and about yesterday with SO.....went for a long walk at an animal farm/zoo.....had a lovely long drive out to see the blooming trees and flowers....ended the evening at a favorite restaurant we had a gift cert for! We sang and laughed and told stories all the way.
I have to take a relative out today, but I'd rather stay home and CLEAN. We'll end up somewhere, anywhere that is open. And then I'll have to overpay for the meal. No, cooking is not an option for this. Not this year.
I am happy to have the taxes done and out. Now the "grueling" wait for the refund. This money (except for $100) goes to the debt. I am SO HAPPY about it!!!!!
Gas prices are still frustrating me.
I am reading articles in the paper today about mortgage payments going up, and I am wondering if I will ever own a home....if I really do want one. SO and I continue to talk about it, but is just talk for now. BUT, I do continue to SAVE. No harm in that. Gotta get that debt balance down, too.
I looking ahead to a week that will be dominated by work frenzy.....no big expectations about reducing or increasing debt. I just have to keep in control, not create new debt. It's alll I can do right now, those baby steps.
Have a great day! Littlesbigs

i get frustrated when i think about whether we will ever own a home, too. And then there is the price of gas, and cost of living in general. Everything seems to be getting outrageous these days.
Hope you have a nice Easter, anyhow. I ended up at a restaurant today, too...dh told his family we weren't coming, but didn't tell me until after the fact, so i didn't really have any cooking plans ready. I didn't mind...it was Cracker Barrle, which I love, but man i sure do feel like I am being nickeled and dimed to death.
Glad you are getting a tax refund..we paid out this year to Fed.
Anyhow, hope you have a nice week!
