OT - Back to work. Oh My!

Yes, it's true. For the first time in 3 years I will be a working woman again as of tomorrow. I got pregnant in 2002 and was put on bedrest mid 2003. We had our little bundle of joy in September 2003. When it was time to go back to work, I was already pregnant with #2 . I worked about 1 month before I was put back on bedrest. Bundle #2 came in May 2005. Now it is time for me to go back to work. Unfortunately, my company closed while I was on mat leave but I was able to find another job, thankfully. SO not only am I going back to work after such a long time, I am going into a brand new company. Please cross your fingers for me, I am really nervous.
I will marry the father of my two beautiful babies on
November 18th, 2006

Congrats on everything! I know you'll do fine. I was on bed rest with my twins, and I think that if you could do bed rest with a little guy in the house, you can do anything!

Thank-you for the well wishes. Even though I will be doing the same job (project manager for a conventions planner) as I was 3 years ago, in a different company, it is still an adjustment. My first week was something, to say the least. It was really hard the first day, I came home bawling my eyes out. But every day after that got a little easier. The people are really nice and are showing me the ropes. I already got a contract for my first client. It is in Pittsburgh in October. I have never been to Pittsburgh, but I presume it can't be half bad. Luckily, I get to go to San Francisco in May first with another project manager to see how it all comes together.
I had been a long time since I got that happy feeling when I came home the end of the day. It is fun to hear my kids yell :Mamaaaaaaa" when I walk through the door.

Glad it went well!
