I was sick this evening so I missed yoga, but I tried to go anyway...but 2 miles from home, I knew it was not a good idea, so turned around and went home, but all I could think was that I wasted 4 miles worth of gasoline......I'm obsessing I know about the price of gas....I just don't want it to mess up my ability to pay down the debt, but it seems like the price will be unpredictably high this summer.....maybe I'm scaring myself watching the news.......Just want to pay off the debt!
I had to charge Easter dinner for the relatives when we went out for Easter, and It is just bugging me. I hate using my credit card now. Sometimes I have to, but I don't like it.
I forgot to pay the cable bill last month, so now I have to pay double to account for this month, too....bummer!
I feel so broke.....not fun. I feel like there is all this pressure on my finances lately.
Time to go to bed. At least that is "free."
Good night! Littlesbigs

I'm really freaked about the gas prices too. I drive a half hour too and from work every morning, and the lady I carpool with lost her job today. It's costing almost $15 per day to drive. That's a lot! $10 I can handle, but I don't make enough money at work to justify any more than $15 per day.

I am hearing you with the gas. I am a sales person, and my company has not offered to increase the amount they pay me per mile. I haven't seen a mileage increase in over 2 years from my employers, but I certainly spend more in gas. They want to know why I am not interested in being on the road as much. Distances are fairly big, so I am a little deterred.
I also have a 40-mile round trip commute to work each day. It is getting more expensive to work. Between clothes and getting myself to work - it's costly.
My car also takes premium - and I just saw the prices go over $3 a gallon. Oh lord - we are in for it this summer. Hope it's not a hot one!
HUGS!
You should check the mileage re-imbursement rate that is set by the IRS, if your company isn't keeping up with what they set, they are in violation! Check it out and maybe track your miles and see. Do they pay you a set amount or for actual miles driven. The rate changes frequently on the IRS website, so I would check it out if I were you. Couldn't hurt. Boy am I glad I only have a 5 mile commute each day to work and I don't have to drive for work during the day. I feel for you all that do!

deciding to be happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, but that you had decided to look beyond the imp
It's going to get worse this summer?
