I am HAPPY DANCING!!!! I am paying off a credit card in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last $500 of ths card seemed like it took so long to pay! A tax refund came in, and I am THRILLED to apply part of it to pay this off!! HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOO HAPPY!!! I realy needed a boost like this to get me excited again about paying off the debt! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am thinking a lot lately about regaining control over my finances, how to do it better, how to stay on track. I am more motivated now to STOP THE MADNESS!!!!!!

I have 2 large cards left to pay. I may not be doing this happy dance again for a couple years, so I am ENJOYING it now!!!!! I think I'll stay up late and have a big swig of cranberry juice to celebrate!!!!!!

I know I'll get to be a broken record whining about the price of gas, but I was SHOCKED with the prices I saw today, up from yesterday. I was telling my SO my thoughts about the summer finances and our dates this summer...we are going to stay local for going out....going to try to be thrifty and creative......we both have swimming pools at out apartment complexes to enjoy........I am going to see if I can skip buying clothes this summer except if I need something for work. I need to figure out how to afford this gas! The bus is looking better all the time..........

Well, let's see what happens tomorrow................................But I am PAYING OFFA CREDIT CARD!!!! HAPPY DANCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!! It is kind of like 2 happy dances because not only are you paying off a credit card but now you have freed up some $$ for a potential flake(or like you said gas $$)

Great job!

Hi, lb--Hey, congrats on the payoff. Now, you can add the amount to the next card. Celebrate a little for me. :) Whiz.

You never know what tomorrow will bring, that is for sure, but celebrate today and enjoy this achievement! That's awesome, you are doing great! Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing, I think it is really encouraging for everyone to hear about others successes. I know it reconfirms in my mind that it can and will be done! Great job! :)

Yeah for you!

deciding to be happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, but that you had decided to look beyond the imp

Congrats! I'm sure it feels nice to have one fewer payment to worry about meeting and now hopefully you can snowflake to the next card or at least keep up with gas prices :)

Congratulations on paying off a credit card! You mentioned that your next "target debt" will be a larger balance. Would you feel comfortable sharing the balance? How big will your monthly snowflake be now that you've paid off a card?

I have been known to "surf" a thousand dollars from the largest credit card (which will take years to pay off)

Sincerely,

Hi, LB---Am so glad to hear of your success and to put that car mess behind you! Am proud of you reaching your goals, your plans for being frugal, and just being back to the great LB! Cranberry juice to celebrate? OOooohh, I would be SO tempted to go splurge a little. Regardless, this is great news! Whiz.
