I am still VERY UPSET. I'll be having the car towed in about a half hour for repairs....I just can't believe this. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ out the window..............

I called into work, and they are acting okay about me not being there....I left notes at my desk, but I think no one is going to know what to do with my work. When I have to leave for the car is when I am sure they will be calling me to say they don't understand my work. wrote the notes only for myself....

UGH!!!!!!!! NO peace...........no financial peace...........no workplace peace......

While the car is being fixed, I'll be waiting in the Walmart....all day? Or maybe I'll just come home and HOPE the repairs don't bankrupt me. I am stalled on my debt journey. I am so upset!

I am trying to find something to be happy about today, but struggling. I am thinking at least I have the room on the credit card to get the repairs done....That's not much comort, however.....

By the way, I had used my emergency fund recently and was trying to replenish it, but just got started. Of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm cranky and miserable today (don't feel well either). It's a nasty mixture of a lot of things.

I can almost guarantee you that the folks at work will be pressuring me to take a laptop computer home all the time now............I purposely separate work and home. I don't like this job.

A very upset Littlesbigs

Littlebigs,
I hope your day gets better. Car repairs are a major nuisance...they drove me to buy my Corolla a few years back, which I still have three years to pay on, but hey, at least it doesn't leave me stranded every other month. Debt reduction? Blech, my debt has creeped up yet again over the past two months, with moving, dh being unable to transfer, etc. It will get better!
Don't let people at work bamboozle you... I think you are making the right choice by keeping business and personal lives seperate. Are you on some sort of track where you are going to climb the corporate ladder and significantly increase your income over the next couple of years? If so, then taking the work home might be a good idea, but otherwise, they are too cheap to hire additional labor.
Take a few deep breaths....unplug your phone, chill. It will get better. Heather

Hi littlesbigs,

Life has a bunch of curve balls doesn't it? Uggghh - lots of them aren't so pretty...

What has helped me today was thinking about my body and health. I am so fortunate to have my sight - I saw a blind man my age the other day and I am 30... I have my health - my grandfather is dying of Parkinson's right now and the last 20 years he has done nothing but worry about his health. A sad 20 years. That is my lesson for remembering to live life to the fullest and stay active no matter what. I hope this doesn't sound preachy since that is not my intention. Thinking of things like this always helps to bring me back to my balance so I just wanted to share.

Regardless, though, this is your situation in your life and it sucks. I am sorry that you have to go through the pricey car repairs and an unfortunate work siutation. good luck. I wish I had something better to say to help because your posts always inspire me.

Hi LB,

I don't really have anything to say except I hope that things work out. Sometimes I really hate Murphy and his stupid law . . .
