Hi, everyone. I just want to say I am truly grateful for each of you who responded with practical tips for DH's bronchitis. We couldnt get in to see the doc.(long story). We stayed home. I told him all the tips you gave, and he says, "thank-you, I feel better--what nice people"! Honestly, sometimes, when I have a stressful week (work,my still-raw skin, DH), I think, "Geeze, how's come I didnt think of that!?, but that's why I count my blessings for this board. Bought: Propel fitness vitamin water (like Gatorade? Less sugar?), mucinex, new trash cans, Lysol, tea. Ordered: hypoallergic pillows, toothbrush sterilizer, Vicks personal steamer. Spent: more money than I expected. Victories: Big cc down from $5300 to $4700. DH Discover: only $600 then paid off!. Setbacks: disposal-fixed (sortof). Furnace:not working right. Positives: A better DH. IDP and Littlebigs---A BIG extra hug to you for being inspiring. Fondly, WHiz. OH---DH hasnt had a cigarette in three weeks!!! Hurray!!!

Wow. This is terrific. Was he trying to quit? Mabye the bronchitis will/is clearing out his lungs. I'm very anti-smoking but grew up in a home where both parents smoked. They still do so I know how hard it is to give it up. GL ;) And congrats on the CC getting lower, I'm incredibly jealous.

Hi, SJ---Thanks for the words of encouragement. Yes, smoking is hard to give up, but you just have to keep trying. You're right, maybe his lungs are getting rid of it. Whiz.
