How can I come up with fast cash?!?!?!

Does anyone have ideas on how I can come up with $1,400 in sixty (60) days?!?! I've fallen behind on a credit card bill and if I can't come up w/that amount in that period of time, then I'll have a negative mark on my credit report. I've worked SO hard to repair my credit after filing bankruptcy 11 yrs ago, I really want to avoid this mark. I just don't have that type of extra cash. I've borrowed money from family so much already (medical bills) I'm wearing out my welcome. =(

HELP!

Is there anything that you could sell? Unused exercise equipment or furniture or something? Or maybe get a part time job for a while?

Do you actually need the full amount?

Unfortunately I need the exact amount. I've been eating only the food I already have in the cabinets, very little 'fresh food'. I'm not a big soda drinker - I've had the same 12 pack in the fridge for about 6 months. Ha ha. I'm sure I could squeeze a little more out of my budget, but probably not $1,400 worth.

I'm ineligible to donate plasma - I've already looked into that. I'm lined up for a part-time job soon, but that will only give me $500 in 60 days.

Does that extra information help?

Why is such a large amount due at one time in 60 days? Is this a very past due account that they are demanding full payment on or something?

Yup, exactly. It's already 60 days past due. =( I think when they took out my uterus they took out all common sense and impulse control!!!!

If your account is already 60 days past due, chances are your credit already took a hit, in which case, I wouldn't worry about killing yourself in order to come up with the full amount. I would check to be sure your credit is actually ok before you agree to anything because this sounds shady to me. Heather

Sorry, I can't offer much. I was going to ask if you are hourly and could you pick up some OT? It makes a big difference to me if I work OT extra $1000-$1500 a month usually. But it sounds like you already have a part time job lined up, that sounds like the best you can do. Good luck.

No, I'm salaried. I'd just received a copy of my credit report a day or two before I spoke with AmEx, and there wasn't a negative on there from them.
