Here's hoping you can see your way to one income!! We get so wrapped up in our debt journeys sometimes that we forget to live. I'm glad you're giving yourself a chance to live.
Have you thought about, once you're done with your purge, downscaling to a smaller apartment? Or looking for a really terrific roommate? Of course, those should only be options if it's something you *want* to do, but if it will make living on a single income easier, then it might be worth it for the freedom it gives you to enjoy family events and just generally relax a bit.
I know I prefer to live with someone else (and, lucky me, it's been my dh and now children for the past ten years) than alone. Of course, that's only true if the roommate is a good one--a crummy roommate can ruin your life for as long as you're living together!
Anyway, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that one way or another you get the break you need!!
