Hello!
My SO returned unexpectedly early from a camping trip yestaerday, so we had an early evening out, and I wanted so much to come home and tackle the mountain of stuff in the bedroom, but I never got there. I still feel a little ill, so I passed out into a deep sleep and that was it. I am planning to workon it today, but I am also trying to balance it with ome time outside today and perhaps a trip to the gym, but with weather like this......I don't know...being inside is a hard sell.
Even with the debt at a high total right now, I went out to look for pants to wear to work yesterday, but I did not find anything, so I guess I feel foolish for going out, but I did. Fortunately, I was not tempted by other things I didn't need. I think if I do some hand washing laundry and actually IRON something, I should be fine for this week.
I am thinking over some advice from an online article I read yesterday about living frugally, and I am at a point where I think there are a few more things I can do to be more thrifty. It's willpower for me, it's staying on track. FOCUS.
The cost of gas, the cost of GOING SOMEWHERE.....bugging me. I think it is part of my inspiration to cut back on other spending.
I also need to focus on moving to a new job. I also want to work in a different town.
I want to make my life better. Just seems tough to move ahead lately.
One more story, then I go...........You know that expression about the straw that broke the camel's back? Well, In the last week, my purse was feeling very, very heavy. Ridiculously, not good for my shoulder, heavy. I tried to take a couple items out of the purse to see what would make it lighter.....but it all came down to too much paper in the purse....it was loaded with receipts and other papaers having to do with money and finances and shopping.......so I wonder what I had done/bought that generated that receipt that finally broke the camel's back????????? I cleaned out the paper, put the stuff back in, and now I am MUCH LIGHTER!.....Switching to a spring purse this weekend....hopefully, I will not fillit up with papaer again! (PS....Based on the dates of the paperwork, I had not cleaned out the purse in 3 months.)
Have a great Sunday! Littlesbigs
