Good things keep happening, keep rolling in! I am in a good space! Sure, the debt journey itself isn't progressing much, but I am positioning myself for better...and I think it will improve as I improve!

I had a lot of activity today towards the possible job opportunity. The end of the day I had a quick, unexpected interview for it with the HR guy. I am anxious for the next step. GLAD I dressed in a suit today! I'll iron another one tonight and wear it tomorrow.

I have a lot of things to do tonight.....always so busy.....trying to keep from falling off the debt wagon!

HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW MUCH MONEY GARBAGE BAGS COST???? Have you noticed the price has gone way up? Could be plastic is another item going up in price with gasoline......Outrageous! I was looking ofr cheap garbage bags this weekend....I prefer the drawstring ones, but may have to switch to something cheaper! I am saving my plastic containers and plastic grocery bags now....I always used to throw them away.

I am looking forward to the long holiday weekend coming up, and I am expecting that I will not be shopping....no sales...I have things to enjoy at home like the pool opening up and craft projects and NAPPING!!!!! I have what I need. I'm going to STOP and enjoy it!

Have a great evening! Littlesbigs

Hello littlesbigs,

Good luck on the interview and job search. I applied for a job recently at my current workplace that would involve a raise and it looks like I'll have an interview soon! My manager even called the hiring manager to recommend me. Anyway, I'm sending you good interview vibes along with mine. Hopefully we'll both be offered better jobs with more income so we can pay that debt off faster! The good thing about applying internally is that if I move to a better position at my current company,

Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke

I have tried cheap garbage bags and they aren't any bargain when they break so easily and you end up with garbage all over the place. I used to be a drawstring fan too, but I noticed that the handle tie bags are cheaper than the drawstrings, and they work just as well. It turns out they actually stay put better in my can too. So I'm sticking with the brand name like Glad or Hefty but using handle ties instead.
