We do have an EF that has been depleted this month due to car repair (same car) $400, a deductible on our home warrenty $45 (microwave broke), medical bills that were applied to the deductible $320, and some other little things.
We now have 0 in the EF and we are now an additional $950 in debt! :(
Ouch!
Do you have an emergency fund that could cover the cost? That's definitely a steep price for a "check engine light" typical repair. =)
Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke
