1. Has the rise in gas prices forced you to charge gasoline more frequently? Has the rise in gas prices affected your ability to pay down your debt? Are you sacrificing any activities in order to conserve on gas? Are you participating in any new activities to conserve on gas? How much does it cost you to drive one mile? Prices have been climbing the last 8 years where I am - so I'm used to the fuel prices going up. 98 octane fuel just hit $2 per litre (not really sure how that compares with your guys prices). As I currently don't have a car, the rises haven't affected me. That said I'm sick of hearing complaints about the price of petrol from the same people who will buy petrol regardless of how expensive it gets. Oh, by the way I'm located in New Zealand
2. What is the most important bill you pay each month? The most important bill would be Rent so that I've got a roof over my head.
3. Do you have any family and friends you have been helping/caretaking in the recent past that now with the higher price of gas are too expensive for you to help? How are you dealing with it? How are they dealing with it? Also, if you have lost a job or just started a job and don't have the time off to help them, how are you all dealing with it? Haven't been helping friends or family so this doesn't apply.

How much does it cost you to drive one mile? ~ No idea how much it costs, actually. We haven't made any changes.
2. What is the most important bill you pay each month? ~ Mortgage, which is paid by direct withdrawal from my account. However, most of my bills are paid this way. I consider it essential to have automatic withdrawals and make sure everything gets paid on time.

How are they dealing with it? Also, if you have lost a job or just started a job and don't have the time off to help them, how are you all dealing with it? ~ I don't have anyone to take care of yet. My elderly dad could use my help from time to time, and because I took a higher paying job which involves a lot of travel to pay off debt and save money, I often can't help him. My sister, however, can, and at some point when she retires and moves away from the area, I will have to help him, and I will make that a priority then.
Wow, $2 a litre is scary...87 octane gasoline is $1.22 a litre here (the highest octane is about $1.35 a litre). I thought Canadian gasoline was bad, it is frustrating to me because not so very far away in the USA the same gas is only about 85 cents a litre, and a lot of it comes from Canadian sources.
I've moved farther away from work and everything else because it was where I found a decent place to live. I knew it would be a bit more driving, but it uses a lot more gas. I have given up a support group because it is such a long drive and one trip would cost about $7-10 in gas. I avoid just about any unnecessary driving so I feel cut off and it feels like social opportunities are limited.
Gas costs $1.22 a litre ($4.90 a gallon) here. I don't do anything much except go to work and back these days. It is a real drag.
Rent is the most important bill. It is cold and miserable outside, supposed to snow today which defies belief.
I would drive my mum around and visit her more often than I do now. I wasn't taking care of her just helping with rides. I don't do that as much, but if she needed help I wouldn't change that, I would have to spend more on gas.
