Personally, I hate change in my job description. Just when I get something down to a science here comes a supervisor with an idea to change everything. It's jolting and usually a waste of time. And you know it, but have to eat it.

My neighbor is going through it at his job right now. Like he says "I just have to smile and do it".

Ain't that the truth.

Guess all you can do is your best to get along and adapt in order to keep your sanity. I would focus on keeping my sanity. I would get lots of rest during your down time and take aspirin or your favorite headache medicine of choice so things don't get to you.

What ever you do, don't show any negative emotions towards anyone. Do your job the best you can with out getting passionate. It may be time to distance your self as you are not in control of the department.

You describe some major changes. Sounds like you are being put into teams. That's gotta be weird at first. Like you said, not everyone on your team works at the same pace, so that would cause discord.

Good for you for being such an excellent worker. Bosses usually let you get what you want in the long run. Cream always rises to the top, right?

How long has this change been going on? I've worked a lot of jobs like you've described, and my experience has been it doesn't take long for the new ideas to be abandoned if they don't work.

Don't lower your standards to the slackers. It will drive you crazy.

Is there anyone you can talk to? Either of your supervisors? Store manager? Am guessing it's non-union so you probably don't have a shop steward?

I hope it works out for you.

I hear ya, gotta keep the job. It pays great and works well with your schedule.

You are going to have to be diplomatic with two bosses who have conflicting ideas.

You are going to have to be diplomatic as you are put in a 'watch dog' position with regards to others on your team.

Treat yourself to some sort of fun to get through the pressures so that you do not explode.

Good job venting here, smart idea to get things off your chest and on 'on paper' so you can dissect your feelings.

It reminds me of a saying "the only thing worse than having to get up and go to work, is to not have to get up and go to work". Having a job is key. Hope you have a great day honey!

A bit of advice.

It's okay to jump...you have wings!

To move forward...you have to stop looking back.
