tell me how you got your ticker to start with an amount then as you pay it down it shows another amount.

I can't seem to get mine to show that. What am I doing wrong?

The beginning amount, in my case $42k, is typed in under "Initial Debt" and the difference between that and my current debt is typed into "Cumulative."

thanks for the help You know what my problem. You see I had to borrow money for teeth. Which made the debt go up a month or so ago. I made my payments last month and all but the new amount was sitting on the old amount. I put in my new new numbers and you can just barely see the 25,809 under the 24,674

well at least the 25 is peeping out there a little guess when I get it paid down by a few thousand the 25 will come out of hiding. tee

That makes sense - one number was covering the other.

I filled up on Saturday, put just over half a tank in my car. I paid the most I've ever paid for gas before: $130.9 a litre. That's about $5.25 a gallon!! It is awful and I feel your pain!! By North American standards I have a "subcompact" highly fuel efficient car (2004 Cavalier) which cost about $42 to fill the tank from almost empty when I got it two and a half years ago...Now half a tank cost $33.50, so $65 or so to fill it. I always wanted a nicer, newer, safer car, and now I am drooling over old 3 cylinder beater cars and wishing I had something like a Ford Festiva or Pontiac Firefly...sign.

$14 per gallon seems impossible, doesn't it?
