Making the hard choices

Well, after a very financially stressful few days, I have made some decisions. I need to take a hard look at what I am doing and try and rework the budget.
A few weeks ago, my roommate dropped the bomb that she was thinking of moving out (namely to save some money and move back with her parents). While that got me worried, it also caused me to want to really focus on the debt reduction and hurrying that along. PS- she decided not to move out! She realized she can't live with her parents anymore!
So my new plan is as follows:

Bex,
I think your plan sounds great and I am glad your roommate decided to stay.
Thanks Robyn!
Sometimes its so hard to see the big picture. But if I follow my plan (which I think I can) I will have the CC paid off by October. From there the money that was going to CC will go to beef up the efund and save for the expenses I will incur in the winter (snow tires - a must as I discovered last winter, a snowblower IF I can save enough etc).
The good news is that property taxes don't come out in November and December, so thats an extra $750 that can be applied towards Christmas/extras that I would like!
Thanks for the positive comments. Its really nice to know there are people out there who care!
