Hello everyone,

I have been a lurker for quite some time. I'm not ready to post my numbers quite yet but I'm in some major debt. A while back I know someone had put an excel spreadsheet that could be used for snowballing. If you have it is it possible for you to repost it so I can get serious. Last year I used to keep track of all our debt and weekly checks, what we spend. etc. than my husband lost his job and everything went downhill. I just basically gave up. It's so hard I probably make about $10,000.00 more than I did this time last year but my husband probably makes about $12,000.00 less this year than last so it seems like I can never catch up. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm rambling I've just got so much going through my mind. Last time I tried to work this spreadsheet and it basically told me "YOU WILL BE IN DEBT FOREVER"....no but really I'm ready to get down and dirty. I even started blogging ( http://mygirlishfigures.blogspot.com ) hoping to get my some of my frustrations out. If someone can get me that spreadsheet I would really like to get started again on my debt and have you wonderful ladies as my support team.

thanks so much

Hello, and welcome.

It's definitely tough to get out of debt, but it CAN BE DONE.

I posted a spreadsheet that I got from someone on one of these boards a few weeks ago. Here's the link where I attached it.

I hope that helps.

I personally put 3 months of mortgage payments and 3 months of car payments into savings. That way if something happens then I have 3 months to not worry about that.

I don't have a spread sheet I got the page that you print out and list your income and bills on to see if you come up even and I got another page to print out that has days on it for a full week to list what you spend.

I saved both of them before the crash of 2008 See where my mind is these days. tee hee.

Thanks for thinking of me.
