I downloaded these forms a few months ago maybe they will help you.
Just click on them and save them then print them out and fill them in.
PS welcome to the board.

Hello,

Regarding posting your debt, there isn't a specific format. People share as much as they feel the need to share.

For example, if I were going to post my debt, I would do so like this:

Debt - Balance
CC#1 $2900
CC#2 $4500
Auto Loan: $8000
Mortgage: $55,0000
Medical: $2000
----------------
$72,400 Total

The numbers above are not my debt numbers, (I don't have them handy) but you get the idea. Regarding the fear of adding up your debt, it's easier to be afraid when you have an "unknown" amount of debt ahead of you to pay off. Finding out, while scary, makes it easier to track your progress toward paying it off.

Please, PLEASE, please, sit down with your monthly statements and find out how much debt you have.

Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke

Hi, Nancy, and welcome.

Usually posting numbers can go one of two ways.

Hi Nancy, and welcome. The first thing to do to tackle your debt is to FACE it - take every statement from every credit card, and make yourself a spreadsheet (on the computer or just on a plain piece of paper): what's the balance, what's the minimum monthly payment, and what's the interest rate. Add up the balances and minimum monthly payments. After you pick yourself up off the floor, figure out what percentage of your take-home pay is going to minimum monthly payments, and then compare that to what you spend on things like mortgage, car, food, utilities, clothing, charity, etc. At least for me, that put it into perspective, as in, "I'm spending $1100 a month paying for things I already bought?!"

BTW, I got an email from you and tried twice to reply but both times the messages got bounced back.

Welcome to the board. The people on this board are awesome.

Once you add the amount of credit card debt, it may make you sick, but it is really helpful.
