I heard on our local news today that we should excpect gas to hit 7.00 a gallon by the end of the year and then I read that people making under 50,000 a year are excpecting a serious personal finanical problems due to all of this.

Gas here just hit $1.34 a litre (that translates to $5.06 a gallon!!!) Luckily we have been somewhat insulated from the increase in prices because of the gain against the US dollar. However, we are getting to the point that things are starting to go up. In July alone, my bus pass is going up $9.00, my property taxes are going up $40.00 and the cost of water went up by $25 a month :(

So I have to work on the budget and make sure that I can still pay down my CC's. I am still hoping to get the CC paid off my October, but it may be have to be November :(

I make decent money, especially when you factor in the rent money, but I am still starting to get nervous!
