Irritated by "Customer Service"...

When I picked a card to target for extra snowflakes (over and above my budgeted snowflakes) several weeks ago I made a point of calling that

It drives me absolutely INSANE when someone in customer service doesn't know their own policies. I work in c/s and if I don't know the policy, I will tell a customer "You know what? I'm not 100% of our policy concerning that, please hold and I will get a manager for you". I want to make sure that *I* am not giving out the wrong information - especially when it's likely going to inconvenience the customer in some way.

I know I'm not the norm. I've been told that over and over. I've been told by customers "I'd rather hear you say "I'm not sure, let me find out" then make something up.

Dearest Robyn

I laughed so hard I almost ppeed my pants if I was wearing any. Most companies go from closing date to closing date. I bet that is what they got you on. That is their calendar

I wish everyone in Customer Service was as honest as concerned about doing a good job as you are, Brandee.

I'm glad I gave you a laugh, Mary Ann.

That's a good idea, LB, but what I was sending was purely a snowflake so it wasn't an emergency.

Dear Robyn,

Yeah, I'm paranoid in the same way!
