1. What is your best memory about Indepndence Day or your country's equivalent holiday? ~ Several years ago we went to my husband's hometown for July 4th, where they set off fireworks at the college sports fields. It was so much fun!
2. Half of the year has gone by.....Are you in better worse, or in similar shape with your debt total since the beginning of the year? What was the most significant event that affected your debt total or debt journey for better or worse durng the first half of the year? ~ Better shape. I paid off all our unsecured debt and our HELOC. We had a great first half of the year at my company, so my bonus was bigger than expected.
3. Have you visited your local public library lately? Have you joined any groups there, volunteered, or borrowed any materials that you have enjoyed? ~ We go to the library about every other week. I've been taking out mystery novels by Ruth Rendell. I like her Inspector Wexford mysteries the best.
1. All of us going to a mall parking lot as a kid to watch the big fireworks show.
2. We are in much better shape since January. The biggest event was paying off American Express. Last year's balance on that card was $28,000. We have enough in savings to pay of DH's car right now, but would leave our emergency fund dry. I'm extremely happy with our progress over the last 6 months.
