What about setting up auto pay through your bank rather than through the companies that don't offer auto withdrawal?

I believe that anyone can cash a post-dated check, regardless of the future date written on the check.

All my best,

I hadn't thought of that option and I love it!

When I was working for an attorney that did some collection work we had some clients that would send up 2 or 3 checks all post dated for the next few months.

Don't Bank people do not pay attention to dates on checks that much So you could end up with a ton of bounced checks.

Believe me on this one.

I have had people in the distant pass ask me to send them post dated checks. and when I did they

My suggestion would have been to pre-write out the checks ahead of time, seal them in an envelope and deduct that amount from your checkbook. But not send the checks just yet. That way the money is OUT of your checkbook (according to your head) and you will see that as money gone - not spendable. I am not sure if this would work for you but it works for me.

When you write a check with a post-date on it, the receiver of the check can cash it regardless of the post-date on it.

Click "Board Settings" and then select the "Contains HTML" check box (it's in the "Personal Signature" section).
