First night at new job

Just wanted all to know that my first night at my new second job was Monday. I worked inventory at a crystal store in the mall. Went GREAT. It wasn't a long night b/c its a small store so I only was there an hour and a half but I did figure out the machines we had to use and didn't screw up OR break any expensive crystal while handling stuff.

I am excited. Between training and the job on Monday I worked 4 1/2 extra hours this week which will be nice to snowflake onto my large credit card balance. I have been doing awesome at not spending any additional $$ and even took in some of my kids clothes that they've outgrown to the resale shop. (course, DH washed the check in his work shirt pocket and it got ruined but I took the crumpled check back to the store and they reissues thank GOODNESS! That was $24. )

Just wanted to say thanks for the support everyone. I get my schedule on Friday for next week so I'm not sure when I work again.

In sad news - our family pug dog died this morning. God Bless Peanut!

Elli,

Peanut was just such a strong force in our house. She used to love being outside and following you around. If you went upstairs - she came with. If you went downstairs - she was right behind. In the last few months when she was slowing down it was saddening to see because she'd want to follow us around but couldn't get up and down the stairs as easily.

Peanut was around for the big events in our lives. She truly was a member of our family. Thanks for asking about her.

Congrats! Just wait until you get that first paycheck and can put it toward a debt! Have you decided on a plan of attack that way?

PS - I am sorry about your pup. Mine is only 1 and I can't imagine life without her!
